Generally, there are plenty of rural attractions in the region. Bulgaria, in particular, is renowned for natural yoghurt, goat and sheep’s milk cheese, wine and rose attar. Macedonia is famous for its tobacco, lamb meat, fresh and processed vegetables and fruits.
